Dutch-Belgian night train company European Sleeper is planning to begin operating direct services to Scandinavia. In April 2028, it plans to launch night train services from Brussels and Amsterdam to Copenhagen and Malmö, in cooperation with German railway company RDC. This is reported by Euronews.

According to the plan, the trains will run three times a week. The preliminary timetable involves departures from Brussels at around 19:00 and arrivals in Malmö at around 10:00 the following morning.

The timetable has not yet been finalised. European Sleeper is working with the infrastructure managers ahead of the formal application for train paths, which is due to be submitted in April 2027.
